What?s on in Sydney in July, 2011

It is middle of winter in Sydney, but it so much things to do. For full list of events check this site and here is my picks: On 2-24 July at State Library will be presented World Press Photo 2011 exhibition. Between 3 and10 July NAIDOC week in Sydney. NAIDOC is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and an opportunity to recognize the contributions of Indigenous Australians in various fields. During this week you can find different events if you are interesting to learn more about life of Aboriginals. On 6th of July come and see some amazing artworks from some of Australia?s best Indigenous artists at Aboriginal Art Auction. Art Auction will showcase an impressive collection of Aboriginal art from across Australia and you don’t need buy anything to see it.� (Above picture taken from this website) Can you image ice skating in Sydney’s downtown? You can do it during Winter Festival between 28th of July and 14th of August. On 31 July Australia?s biggest coffee event Aroma festival takes over the historic laneways of The Rocks.
