Anegada: An Anomaly That Is Paradise

Anegada is an anomaly. The name itself, which is Spanish for "drowned land" gives away part of this exotic locale's secret. The island is essentially at sea level with its highest point reaching only 28 feet. Unlike the other Virgin Islands, Anegada is not a volcanic island. Instead, the area has been formed by the reefs, which have pushed out limestone and coral sands of ancient quality.
