Alright alright, don't even say it. I can hear you thinking, so no need to admonish me out loud. Yes, I'm a shill for big business now. Yes, I'm forgoing the small, indie, student, or experimental animations I usually post on these pages in favour of big-market, corporate advertising. I swear I'm not making any money for doing so, but I can still hear the screams of "SELLOUT" as I type.
What's worse is that the ad is for the phone company! Bell Canada is one of those huge service providers we Canadians love to hate, and I can see certain countrymen missing this spot's charms by looking at it through a bitter haze of anger.
And here I am passing along their advertising. No, I'm not proud of myself.
But what can I do? I've been seeing this ad everywhere recently and it just keeps catching my eye. And short of popping those eyes out with a popsicle stick, it's going to continue to do so. That's because it's a damn fine bit of motion graphics, set to an infectiously catchy piece of music.
After watching it, I'm sure my American and international readers will agree, and be happy that I posted it.Now if you'll excuse me, I have a nation to answer to.
