What to post on a lazy Sunday morning? Sure, there are some ideas making banging noises upstairs in the old noggin, but none of them are finished baking yet. I also have a few recently completed projects that I could talk about, (and one really awesome one still in production) but, dangit, I just don't feel like it.
Why? Well it's Sunday, and the wife and I were shocked to discover that neither party had any plans for the other's time today. What's that mean? It means we're doing nothing! Nothing other than listening to some Christmas tunes, wrapping some presents, and maybe watching a little telly.*
Hallelujah.
So what does any of that have to do with the gorgeous little piece of animation below, an abstract but enthralling two minutes of eye candy that attempts to describe music with pictures? Well it's my long winded excuse for not having anything to say about it, in typical lazy Sunday fashion, other than this:
It's good. Watch it.
*I almost never watch telly, and to be honest, I doubt I will today; but for whatever reason I just really wanted to sound British right there.

Süperfad’s latest short film, directed by Nando Costa, explores the connections between science, mathematics and music. Drawings representing a musical score are released into stylized landscapes that illustrate conditions through which sounds travel. These drawn representations react in different ways when traveling through the desolate landscapes, transforming into impossible musical instruments and altering elements in the environment along the way. The film’s structure is defined by World Gang’s music composition, which features classic instruments altered electronically to create the track. Working in a push and pull relationship, the film’s video and audio abstractions unite in an experience that is both otherworldly and rooted in tradition.
